engineers and electricians who are readily available to be on-site at a moment’s notice. Our team of

Electrical & Mechanical

Worldwide Marine & Power Solutions has a 1,000 sqm fully operational workshop facility located in DAKAR
PORT, SENEGAL allowing us to provide our customers with the capability to offer complete refurbishment of
rig equipment from engine, motor and pump repair to synchronization of switchgear and panels.

Over the last 10 years we have established ourselves as a leading specialist in engine repairs, rewinding AC
and DC electrical motors, generators and transformers as well as providing repairs and maintenance of LV
and HV electrical rotating equipment.
We currently have over 50 staff dedicated to repair work and upgrades throughout our workshop and on
site performing a multitude of services such as: 

  • Rewinding and overhaul of all AC & DC motors.
  • Rewinding and overhaul of alternators up to 100MW
  • Armature rewinding.
  • Stator core rebuilds.
  • Dynamic Balancing up to 10 tons.
  • Vibration testing and analysis.
  • Thermograph.
  • Circuit breaker Injection testing.
  • Copper windings.
  • Form winding from 2,300 to 15,000 volts.
  • Overhaul of all types of generators.
  • Design and construction of individual generator sets to complete packaged power plants.

  • Valve seat grinding machine

The valves, are worn in the course of operation and
has deformations of material.
For their reuse, we rectify the ports to have a good
seal and ensure a good compression of the in the
cylinders

For the restoration of the cylinder heads of the
engines it is important to take back, the valve seats
for a good seal.

By removing material on the cylinder head and valve we will therefore ensure a good carrying so a good seal

  • Injectors testing machine

The Revision of the Injection System is recommended after every 12000 hours of engine operation,
Following contamination or over speed.
An injector calibration system is installed in our workshops, to
carry out this Operation under the conditions recommended
by the manufacturers.
